Polka Doodles MYSTICAL - MAGICAL CARD CHALLENGE

For this card l used the following CD's:

The background was built up by using different elements from the discs.
Again was found it so easy to mix and match.

The Fairy was made by building up one of the images from Sundae of Seasons cd and then by using the wings from a butterfly on Double Sprinkles cd l made my fairy, all l had to do was to glitter the outside of the wings to give that Fairy look.

To create the woodland scene l built it up by using elements from the cd to create a scene. The log was made for the Fairy to sit on and create a focal point. Then l enlarged a few of the birds so that it gave the fairy a way of looking scaled.

The edging was made by punching out a ribbon using a MS punch. The flowers were made by with my Cuttlebug cutting out 4 of the Rose dies along with 2 leaves per rose.
If you dont have a Graphics program then there are several on the internet that are better than some. A lot are not worth the effort in pressing the downloading button. One program that l have come across and there is a large how to do list of videos on y-tube is a program called Inkscape.

Here is a link to the program http://inkscape.org/download/.
Another advantage of this program is that it was designed to handle your SVG Files. If you have a electronic die cutting machine then you will know how hard it is sometimes to adapt those files.
I am not being paid for or receiving any money for posting this link or for any downloads made. Its just my way of letting people know what's out there to be used.

So download the program, start to import your crafty images from PD cd's and start to construct back grounds that you can then build up with your favourite techniques. I know Polka Doodles cd's are easier than a lot of the cd's to use and will help you build up interesting and creative back drops. Dont forget if your stuck just have a look on the web as there are great tutorials on how to do this or that or how that tool works.

Any problems or questions please send me a message and l will get back to you a.s.a.p.

Keep Crafting
